|科目の目的・到達目標||To increase students’ ability to succeed at either the TOEFL or the TOEIC test. To increase basic fluency and confidence and reinforce listening, speaking and reading.|
|授業の概要||Classroom activities will focus primarily on grammar exercises & listening practice. Attention will also be given to reading & writing practice. This will be a flexible approach based on student level and number.|

Class １: Orientation.
Class ２: Singular and plural, countable and uncountable, use of a, the, etc.
Class ３: Writing & speaking: Self-introductions.
Class ４: Writing & speaking: review of self-introductions.
Class ５: Listening & speaking: Talking about one’s school.
Class ６: Listening & speaking:Talking about your hometown
Class ７: Reading: Sight-reading of a current news article.
Class ８: Listening & speaking: Talking about where one lives.
Class ９: Listening & speaking: Talking about your hometown.
Class 10: Reading: Sight-reading of another current news article.
Class 11: Listening & speaking: Talking about your schooldays
Class 12: Listening & speaking: Talking about your hobbies, likes, dislikes
Class 13: Reading:Sight-reading of a third current news article.
Class 14: Speaking: Talking about vacation plans.
Class 15: Final review.
|評価方法||Student evaluation will be based 100% on in-class quizzes and activities. No make-up exam will be possible.|

|授業外の学習活動||Students are required to prepare vocabulary before each class and also to review each lesson in order to deepen and retain cumulative knowledge and skills. Students need to bring a sharp pen, eraser and B5 notebook.|
