|科目の目的・到達目標||The English Communication courses aim to equip students with the communicative skills they need to feel comfortable speaking and listening to English in a variety of settings, social, academic, and professional. Students will participate in activities designed to improve their listening comprehension and ability to make themselves understood in spoken English, including formal or informal presentations or other activities relevant to their personal and academic interests. Course materials may include news reports, interviews, and lectures from radio, television, video, or film, as well as materials prepared by students themselves to accompany presentations, debates, or discussions.|
|授業の概要||This course will continue to concentrate on developing communicative skills acquired
in the first semester through a wide range of skill building and innovative exercises.
The class will be conducted in English and all the students must try to speak in English.
The skill building exercises will be done in the form of individual, group and pair work activities.
This will be done through the use of audio and video tapes.

Week 2 Unit 5 - Summer and Fun - warm up, practice the short conversation
Week 3 Unit 5 continued - listening and filling in the blanks in the dialogue and practice the dialogue
Week 4 Unit 6 - Here and There - vocabulary and dialogue
Week 5 Unit 6 continued - conversation check and practice
Week 6 Unit 7 - Giving and Receiving
Week 7 Unit 7 continued - conversation activities
Week 8 Unit 8 - Parties and Fashion - vocabulary of clothing and accessories
Week 9 Unit 8 continued - listening and practicing the dialogue
Week 10 Review -Unit 5 to 8 - Summer and Fun
Week 11 Review continued
Week 12 Unit 9 - Physical Education and Health - warm up, vocabulary and dialogue
Week 13 Unit 9 continued - follow up exercises
Week 14 Unit 10 - Nursery School and Day Care
Week 15 Course review and final assessment
