|科目の目的・到達目標||By the end of the course, students should be able to:
(a) write simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
(b) write simple essays based on personal experiences and impressions.
(c) give reasons and explanations for opinions, plans, and actions.
|授業の概要||Students are, prior to this course, expected to have English vocabulary of high school level and basic knowledge in how to make grammatical sentences. They will learn how to write paragraphs and peer-review essays. They will also be given writing assignments related to each unit of the textbook. The writing assignments must be word-processed (completed in Microsoft Word) and submitted via manaba. Small quizzes on grammar for writing may be given in the class.|
|評価方法||Two-thirds of attendance is required for credit recognition. When you miss five classes, you will automatically fail the course.
