|科目の目的・到達目標||The English Communication courses aim to equip students with the communicative skills they need to feel comfortable speaking and listening to English in a variety of settings, social, academic, and professional. Students will participate in activities designed to improve their listening comprehension and ability to make themselves understood in spoken English, including formal or informal presentations or other activities relevant to their personal and academic interests. Course materials may include news reports, interviews, and lectures from radio, television, video, or film, as well as materials prepared by students themselves to accompany presentations, debates, or discussions.|
|授業の概要||This course will help students to develop communication ability in English, focusing on listening to various news around the world and discussing current issues of the news. Students are expected to actively participate in class discussions on the topics of listening materials. This course also enables students to prepare in effective public speaking through practices of delivering a speech and presentation on various topics. Vocabulary quizzes will be given on a weekly basis.
