|科目の目的・到達目標||The Academic Writing courses begin with practice in the development of English paragraphs and end with the presentation of researched and documented papers in the Policy Sciences and Cultural Studies. Work in the courses will include activities designed to help students select and limit topics related to their own academic interests, to use reference materials available in the Chuo libraries to locate sources related to these, and relying on these and other sources to compose essays that are fully and fairly documented.|
|授業の概要||In this class, students will prepare an academic composition of approximately 1,000 words. Students will be guided through every stage of academic essay creation. Students will be expected to present on and edit their work in class.

Note: Students who are absent four times or more during the semester will receive the grade ‘F’.
