This reading class aims to stimulate students' interest in Western philosophers and as a reseacher of the Faculty of Policy Studies, students are required to find their own research theme in relation with Policy Studies and Culture, and express their opinions by using the ideas of Western philosophers studied in class.
This couse (1b) aims to improve your reading skill. In this class you will read the textbook on the history of Western philosophy. In each class you will read the text, and exchange opinions on the content of the textbook. Toward the end of the term, you are supposed to find your own research topic, and give presentation on the theme.
