科目の目的・到達目標 | The repeat courses aim to consolidate knowledge of the four skills in English which seemed to not be fully grasped by students in their initial courses. |
授業の概要 | The course will provide workshops to learn and practice skills and strategies for vocabulary improvement, reading and listening comprehension, writing, and public speaking. Students will learn and practice digital skills and create a portfolio of their work for the class. |

評価方法 | Assessment is based on: 50% for creating 5 portfolio projects and 50% for sharing your projects, participating in class activities, and conferences. Note: Students who are absent six times or more during the year (students enrolling 2014 or before), four times or more during the semester (students enrolling 2015 or after) will receive the grade ‘F’. |
テキスト・参考文献等 | There is no textbook. Students will use internet and library resources and those provided to them in class. |
授業外の学習活動 | Students are required to spend at least an hour per week studying textbooks, class materials, or handouts in order to prepare for the next class and also to review material studied in previous classes. Students should bring their own laptop or borrow one from the university. |
