科目の目的・到達目標 The aim of this class is to provide you with opportunities to prepare digital presentations and practice presenting information to others. The objective is to give you confidence and help you identify and improve weak points in speaking publicly in English..
授業の概要 This class is a workshop helping you to prepare, practice and perform five presentations on various themes. Students are involved in critiquing peers and giving positive and constructive feedback. Students will practice digital skills and keep a portfolio of their work.

Week 4: Peer-review & editing
Week 5: Presenting Research (2) and conferences
Week 6: Editorializing  (4) workshop

Week 8 :Presenting Editorials (4) & conferences
Week 9: Year in Review (5) workshop

評価方法 Evaluation is based on your contribution to all class proceedings, especially as an enthusiastic member of an audience and as a speaker who engages others. Assessment is based on: 50% for creating 5 presentations and 50% for participating in classmates' presentations, class activities, and conferences.









テキスト・参考文献等 There is no textbook. Students will use internet and library resources and those provided to them in class.



授業外の学習活動 Students should bring their own laptop or borrow one from the university. Preparing a presentation takes a lot of time. You will need to plan your schedule to allow for adequate time to prepare and practice. You are encouraged to use your smartphone's recording application to help you to practice.
