1) learn the overview of moral philosophy and explain basic ethical arguments.
2) acquire active reading and academic writing skills in english.
3) express their ideas/thoughts and participate in discussions.
|授業の概要||In this course we will be reading "An Introduction to Moral Philosophy" written by Jonathan Wolff. The book contains various topics in moral philosophy. The course has three aims: 1) to learn the characteristics of 'ethical' issues 2) to acquire active reading and academic writing skills in English, and 3) to engage in discussions. Students are expected to select a topic and write an response paper.
