科目の目的・到達目標 | Through this course, students will be able to 1) learn the overview of moral philosophy and explain basic ethical arguments. 2) acquire active reading and academic writing skills in english. 3) express their ideas/thoughts and participate in discussions. |
授業の概要 | In this course we will be reading "An Introduction to Moral Philosophy" written by Jonathan Wolff. The book contains various topics in moral philosophy. The course has three aims: 1) to learn the characteristics of 'ethical' issues 2) to acquire active reading and academic writing skills in English, and 3) to engage in discussions. Students are expected to select a topic and write an response paper. |
