|科目の目的・到達目標||The Academic Writing courses begin with practice in the development of English paragraphs and end with the presentation of researched and documented papers in the Policy Sciences and Cultural Studies. Work in the courses will include activities designed to help students select and limit topics related to their own academic interests, to use reference materials available in the Chuo libraries to locate sources related to these, and relying on these and other sources to compose essays that are fully and fairly documented.|
|授業の概要||This course will introduce students to the basics in academic writing, Paragraph organization, sentence structure, grammar and the writing process will be covered. Different paragraph models will be introduced and practiced. In addition, journal writing activities will be given.
