授業の概要
＜学位授与方針と当該授業科目の関連＞
この科目は、問題解決力（外国語とコミュニケーションの能力及びコンピューターを利用した統計・情報処理と分析の能力を用いて、科学技術及び社会の急速な変化に対応しながら、さまざまな問題を解決することができる）の修得に関わる科目です。
＜概要＞
By the finish of this course students will have gained the ability to talk with native English speakers and express themselves in a natural, confident manner. The focus of this course will clearly be upon speaking, rather than reading/writing.
科目目的
To give students many opportunities to converse and discuss with others
To give them opportunities to make presentations
To give them opportunities to read about important issues and improve their writing skills

To help students to get to the point where they are comfortable exchanging opinions with others on relatively difficult topics
To enable them to make clear and logical presentations without relying too much on written notes

Students are required to spend at least an hour per week studying textbooks, class materials, or handouts in order to prepare for the next class and also to review material studied in previous classes.
