授業の概要

Exploring International Law and Politics

International law and politics shape some of the most important issues facing the world today: war and peace, human rights, refugees and migration, climate change, global inequality, and the role of international institutions.

This seminar-style course introduces students to key issues in international law and global politics through research, discussion, and presentation. Students will select topics of interest, work individually and in groups, and develop their ability to analyse international issues, evaluate sources, and communicate ideas clearly in English.

The course also functions as a skills-based foundation seminar, helping students prepare for upper-level law courses taught in English and for potential study-abroad programmes.
