授業の概要

In this course, students will learn to write sentences and paragraphs on various topics through comprehensive training in grammar, mechanics, vocabulary, sentence structure, paragraph organization, and the writing process.

科目目的

This course aims to develop students’ writing skills by composing simple sentences and paragraphs and expressing their ideas on a variety of topics. Additionally, it prepares students to articulate their ideas and opinions on academic topics.

到達目標

By the end of this course, students should be able to:
(a) write short declarative sentences;
(b) fill in forms with personal details, for example entering one’s name, nationality and address on a hotel registration form;
(c) write short, simple notes and messages relating to matters in areas of immediate need; and
(d) prepare for writing brief pieces on academic topics.
