授業時間外の学修の内容(その他の内容等)
For every unit that we study, we will have a class session where we will discuss an important topic. So, for each semester, we will have 3 class discussions. This is for you to develop your opinion and perhaps to debate or at least to compare opinions with other students in your group.
During the semester, you will engage in independent study activities to complement in-class learning. These tasks are designed to deepen their understanding of course topics, enhance language skills, and prepare for collaborative projects.
Each week, students will:
• Listen to assigned TED Talks, podcasts, or other authentic recordings, taking notes and reflecting on key ideas.
• Build Vocabulary by studying weekly word lists, completing practice exercises, and applying new terms in context.
• Research and reflect on course-related themes, connecting them to personal experiences or societal issues in Japan.
• Prepare for Group Work by drafting individual contributions, reviewing peer input, and revising collaboratively.
• Write short responses, paragraphs, fill in the blank answers for weekly in-class activities.
• Reflect in a weekly journal to assess you progress, challenges, and insights gained.
授業時間外の学修に必要な時間数/週
・毎週1回の授業が半期(前期または後期)または通年で完結するもの。1週間あたり1時間の学修を基本とします。
