授業の概要
This is an ADVANCED LEVEL elective for students with a TOEIC score of 600 and above. This course is designed for students who plan to study abroad. It helps them prepare for English proficiency tests like TOEFL and IELTS by focusing on more advanced academic content. In class, students will learn about the different question types and important test-taking strategies. They will also practice self-directed learning and apply what they’ve learned through a variety of activities. The goal of this course is to help students build strong, advanced English skills that are essential for studying in an English-speaking environment.
本科目はTOEIC 600点以上の学生を対象とする「アドバンスト・コース」に位置づけられる。留学を目指す学生を主に対象とし、留学要件となる英語検定試験対策を視野に入れながらよりアカデミックな内容をカバーする。授業では具体的にTOEFLやIELTSの問題形式や解答のポイントを学ぶと同時に、自律的な学習方法を実践し、多様な活動を通じて学んだ知識やスキルを応用できる力を養うことを目指す。本科目を通して、留学に必要となる総合的で高度な英語運用能力を養うことが期待される。

In this course, students will gain practice in English proficiency tests like TOEFL and IELTS required for studying abroad.
本科目では、留学要件として必要となるTOEFLやIELTSなどの英語検定試験に対応する実践的な学習を行う。
到達目標
Students should be able to:
1. Understand the formats of major English proficiency tests.
2. Use test-taking strategies to improve their scores.
3. Apply self-directed learning skills for future development.
上級英語試験講座を通して、学生は以下のことが可能になることが期待される。
1．主要な英語検定試験の形式を理解することができる。
2．スコアを向上させるための解答戦略を用いることができる。
3．今後の学習発展のために自律学習スキルを活用できる。
