授業の概要

In this course, students will learn academic writing strategies, including paragraph organization and the appropriate use of vocabulary and grammar, and develop the ability to express their ideas clearly and coherently. Writing assignments based on topics from the textbook will be assigned, and students are required to submit them via manaba, and a final exam will be administered at the end of the course.

科目目的

This course aims to develop students’ writing skills through various writing activities. Students will be required to express their own ideas in writing and to understand paragraph organization and appropriate expressions used in academic literature.

到達目標

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

(a) write clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects related to their interests.
(b) write an essay or report that describes a problem and presents appropriate solutions with supporting reasons.
(c) construct a coherent chain of reasoned arguments in writing.
