授業の概要
This course aims to study the significant knowledges, history, values, economic and fiscal structure, and domestic issues in United States of America through using movies, current news, and actual digital camera images. The main discussion point of this course is, first, to gain a bird's-eye view of the historical dynamism and structure that has led to the demonstration and maintenance of the US economic power, and second, to study the industrial structure, trade, monetary strategies, and public finance. Students will explore the characteristics of the U.S. economy by exploring some specific fields of domestic political issues, focusing on poverty, disparity, education, welfare, transportation, state and local government policies.
