授業の概要
The objectives of this course are to build on the English abilities developed through earlier English Communication courses, to introduce the students to more complex English language features, and to provide opportunities to learn more challenging listening and discussion skills and strategies, in particular those that further ability in critical thinking and argumentation.
科目目的
This course will help students
・improve speaking fluency and listening skills;
・become skilled at using classroom language for clarification of understanding of classroom content, course tasks and student responsibilities;
・improve conversation skills such as initiating conversation, nominating topics and responding appropriately to questions;
・become more skilled at leading a small group discussion;
・improve formal presentation skills;
・gain experience in using online communication tools;
・build organizational and study skills needed throughout university studies
