授業の概要
This course aims to help students understand common English expressions used in different contexts and build their vocabulary and improve conversation skills. With new expressions and communication strategies, students will have gained the ability to talk with English speakers and express themselves in a natural, confident manner. The focus of this course will be mainly on speaking, rather than reading/writing. Students will be exposed to various forms of media and explore common language found in these shows, movies, posts etc.
科目目的
To build vocabulary by introducing everyday verbal phrases and other idiomatic expressions that are commonly used in conversation and various forms of the media. Also to gain communication strategies necessary for smooth, confident communication.
到達目標
Students should become familiar with common phrases and words that they will encounter when reading books, watching films, etc. Through consuming various forms of media, students will gain knowledge of appropriate uses of different English words and phrases.
