授業の概要

This course is for English majors and is based on Passages 3rd Edition Level 2 SB with Digital Pack. Activities include vocabulary building, grammar exercises, pair and group work, listening comprehension and reading comprehension.

科目目的

This course builds on skills that students have acquired in of their education and seeks to further develop their vocabulary, knowledge of grammar, and improve their ability to read, write, speak and listen in English.

到達目標

Students will be able to achieve a passing grade on the semester final examination.

Review and Preparation: Review all the grammar. vocabulary and pronunciation after class and do interactive exercises. Prepare for class by watching videos from colloquial English and listening to reading text on audio.

・毎週１回の授業が半期（前期または後期）または通年で完結するもの。１週間あたり１時間の学修を基本とします。

If we have to work online because of the pandemic, the grades will be 100% based on work submitted online.

その他特記事項

- Students are not allowed to use cell phones during the lesson and for non-class related activities.

- If the students is absent, they are responsible for finding out and completing assignments

- It is recommended that students bring a dictionary to class.

- Attendance is required. Five (5) absences in one semester without an official written excuse will result in failure. Thirty (30) minutes late without a good reason will be counted as absent. Three (3) times late (14 minutes or less) will be counted as absent. Two times late (15 minutes or more) will be counted as absent.
