授業の概要

この科目は、問題解決力(外国語とコミュニケーションの能力及びコンピューターを利用した統計・情報処理と分析の能力を用いて、科学技術及び社会の急速な変化に対応しながら、さまざまな問題を解決することができる)の修得に関わる科目です。
<概要>
This course is designed to develop the English skills students need to get a job and work effectively within a foreign multinational corporation. The course will focus on English skills required to get the "first job". The business culture and practices of foreign companies will be examined and compared to Japanese companies. English skills related to typical job search activities will be practiced extensively. Students will be expected to prepare diligently for class on a regular basis. A wide variety of assignments will be given to practice the required.

2. An Introduction To Business Presentations: Explore the fundamentals of crafting effective business presentations, including audience analysis, purpose identification, and message clarity.
3. Software For Business Presentations: Learn to navigate and utilize key presentation software tools to create visually engaging and professional slides.
4. Planning A Presentation: Delve into the strategic process of organizing content, structuring narratives, and outlining key points for impactful delivery.
5. Presentation Group Meetings: Collaborate with peers in structured group sessions to brainstorm ideas, delegate tasks, and refine your presentation concepts.
6. Group Consultations: Receive personalized feedback and expert guidance during instructor-led consultations to address challenges and polish your group project.
7. Presentation Skills: Focus on developing essential delivery techniques such as voice modulation, body language, and the effective use of visual aids.
8. Presentation Skills: Advance your presentation expertise with exercises that emphasize audience engagement, handling Q&A sessions, and managing stage presence.
9. Group Presentation: Execute your first group presentation by applying learned strategies to deliver a cohesive, persuasive business message.

11. Interview Types & Questions: Examine various interview formats and common question types to build a strong foundation for successful interviews.

13. Interview Simulations: Engage in realistic mock interviews to test your skills, receive constructive feedback, and boost your confidence.
14. Review of Major Concepts: Wrap up the course by synthesizing key presentation and interview strategies, ensuring you’re well-prepared for real-world challenges.
