授業の概要
This class will experience globalization and localization in a local city in Japan. Students will visit Minamiuonuma, Niigata prefecture, and attend an international festival at the International University of Japan to see how a multicultural event unites local people and helps them understand global diversities. They will also take a class about the local Japanese government and visit a local sake factory to learn how the company is trying to be globally popular.

May 25: International Festival at the International University of Japan

May 27: Lecture - Japanese Local Government (Professor Yamada Kyohei) at the International University of Japan

- Understand cultural diversity globally.
- Learn how local governments are managed.
- Experience Japanese local enterprise.
到達目標
The ultimate goal of this class is to make students understand cultural diversity, experience Japanese local culture, learn about Japanese local government, and get closer to other students in the class.

This class is for students who take Seminar II and Seminar IV classes and register for this Field Trip class. The weekly schedule will be similar except for three weeks before and after the field trip.
