授業の概要

Students will have two weeks of internship overseas (minimum 30 hours in total) at corporations or institutions related to their specialties or academic interests.

科目目的

The objectives of this course are for students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to work in geographically and culturally different environments and pursue their own goals through two weeks of internship overseas.

到達目標

Students are expected to set their own goals in terms of the rubric provided.
The goal of the course is to complete the internship.

２．Preparation for the internship overseas (Online 50 minutes)
３．Orientation at the workplace (50 minutes)
４．Internship training 1 Global business skills (Half Day)
５．Internship training 2 Office tour, getting along with coworkers (Half Day)
６．Internship training 3 Attending work meetings (Half Day)
７．Internship training 4 Interacting with local staff, intercultural communication (Half Day)
８．Internship training 5 Identifying needs of local people, consumers, and/or clients (Half Day)
９．Internship training 6 Identifying needs of various stakeholders (Half Day)
10．Internship training 7 Environmental and social considerations (Half Day)
11．Internship training 8 Responding to institutional differences (Half Day)
12．Internship training 9 Responding to cultural differences (Half Day)
13．Internship training 10 Wrap up at the workplace (Half Day)
14．Writing and submitting a report or making a presentation (Online Report 50 minutes)

※インターンシップ実施期間中に行われるイベントや活動への参加に際しては、自己負担となる費用が発生する場合がありますので、あらかじめご留意ください。

※インターンシップ実施期間外にも会合・イベント等を案内する場合があります。
　なお、インターンシップ実施期間外に実施される会合・イベント等への参加の有無は、成績評価には含まれません。

※授業ではWhatsApp等外部アプリを利用しコミュニケーションを行います。

Students must find the internship destination, negotiate for the internship opportunity, and prepare for the internship by obtaining any basic information available.
After the internship, students are required to submit the report in the form of either a document or a presentation.

＊詳しくは応募要項に従って下さい。

授業時間外の学修に必要な時間数／週

・毎週１回の授業が半期（前期または後期）または通年で完結するもの。１週間あたり４時間の学修を基本とします。
・毎週２回の授業が半期（前期または後期）で完結するもの。１週間あたり８時間の学修を基本とします。
