授業の概要
This course is designed for students who plan to have a short-term study abroad program at California State University - East Bay (CSUEB).
This course provides opportunities to prepare for the short-term study abroad program, by practicing English (listening, speaking, discussing, reading, and writing), and learning about the globalization, global affairs, international culture, cross-cultural communication, digital business, and international business.

Students are expected to improve their English skills and comprehend globalization and global affairs.
到達目標
By the end of the course, students are expected to do presentations and discussions on topics related to globalization, global affairs, and international business in English. This will help the students in adapting to the new international environment with a different culture.

| 期末試験（到達度確認） | 20 | Final group presentation. Groups of 4-5 students will be formed. Groups can decide the topic of their presentation on any topic related to this course. |
| レポート | 20 | Individual Term-end report. Each student will write a 3-4 pages report on their key learnings from this course (Single space, Times New Roman, font size 12) |
| 平常点 | 10 | Attendance, Class discussions, Homework assignments (on Manaba). |
| その他 | 50 | 50% of your grade will be decided by CSUEB study abroad program. |
