授業の概要

＜学位授与方針と当該授業科目の関連＞
この科目は、問題解決力（外国語とコミュニケーションの能力及びコンピューターを利用した統計・情報処理と分析の能力を用いて、科学技術及び社会の急速な変化に対応しながら、さまざまな問題を解決することができる）の修得に関わる科目です。
＜概要＞
In this course, students will be able to improve their language skills as they learn about a variety of topics. The class meets twice a week. On one of those days, we will read passages in the textbook together and also work on textbook exercises. On the other day, students will get into small groups and have discussions that are related to the topic covered in the text. Discussions will be followed by group presentations.

To help them to read as well as write at a high level

In this class, students will be asked to do the following for homework:

1. Reread text passages that we read in class
2. Review vocabulary words and phrases
3. Write two essays about topics that are discussed in class
4. Submit two other short written assignments
5. Complete text exercises that are not completed in class
