授業の概要

This course is a continuation of first-year presentation performance classes, with a focus on clear and concise communication of ideas related to contemporary social issues aligned with the SDGs. Students participate in regular short presentation-style performances, discussions, and speaking tasks that emphasize message clarity, audience awareness, and effective use of simple visuals.

Students experiment with reduced script support, using outlines and keyword notes as appropriate, and practice creating basic visual materials using tools such as PowerPoint or Canva to support spoken communication. The course prioritizes consistent participation and active engagement over polished or high-stakes presentations.

By the end of the course, students will:

1. Develop greater independence in expressing opinions and ideas in spoken English
2. Communicate messages more clearly and concisely in short presentation-style performances
3. Use scripts, outlines, or keyword notes strategically to support spoken performance
4. Create and use simple visual aids to enhance meaning and audience understanding
5. Discuss and respond to SDG-related topics from multiple perspectives
6. Reflect on their own communication strengths, challenges, and progress
