授業の概要
The first half of the course (spring) focuses on practicing effective strategies for communicating and expressing ideas, as well as presentation planning and design, focusing on making interesting and comprehensible scripts. Students will practice presenting topics closely related to their lives, and then learn to plan and focus research topics related to the SDGs, gathering information from both primary and secondary sources, creating attention-getting visuals, and using strategies to make engaging presentations.
The second half of the course (autumn) focuses on revisiting the spring term strategies and undertaking a semester-long research project on topics chosen by the students, culminating in engaging presentations and discussions of their topics.
